For the third year in a row, Nobu Matsuhisa was the main attraction of the Golden Globes ceremony menu. However, the presence of the renowned chef did not please everyone.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, writer Kyle Buchanan shared a photo of the menu with his followers on the night of the 83rd Golden Globes.

Nobu Matsuhisa prepared the classic yellowtail with jalapeño, a portion of caviar, lobster salad with spicy lemon dressing, a trio of nigiri (Japanese sea bream, salmon and tuna) and the crowd favorite, miso black cod.

For dessert, a matcha cake with a golden Nobu coin was served.

Despite the dazzling menu shown in the photo, many internet users questioned whether it would be enough to leave someone satisfied.

“Oh, they’ll be hungry again,” one person wrote. “After the show is over,” another added, alongside a photo of a McDonald’s meal.
Another commented: “It looks tasty, but this wouldn’t make me full.”

Some defended Nobu Matsuhisa’s choice, stating that he “makes sushi the right way” and that although everything looks small on a single bento-style plate, it is technically five courses.

The discussions ended after it was confirmed that there was another room where guests could help themselves at the restaurant’s buffet if they were still a little hungry.
