During a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss agreements for peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Donald Trump called a reporter’s question “dumb” on Sunday (28).

“What a dumb question. Nobody even knows what the security agreement is going to state,” the president said to a journalist who took part in the press Q&A session.
The reporter in question asked about possible security guarantees that the US could offer Ukraine as part of a peace deal, which left Donald Trump furious.
“There will be a security agreement. It will be a strong agreement. And European nations are very involved in this,” the Republican continued after his outburst.
The sharp response to the journalist left internet users confused, as security guarantees had already been mentioned earlier in Donald Trump’s original peace proposal.
According to a post by Zelenskyy on Telegram, the Ukrainian leader appeared optimistic about the negotiations, saying that “a lot can be decided before the New Year.”
However, he warned that solutions depended “on those who help Ukraine and those who put pressure on Russia so that the Russians feel the consequences of their own aggression.”
Donald Trump said via his Truth Social profile that he had spoken with Vladimir Putin about the discussions in a phone call, the first since October.
