The reunion was announced by CBS in October and premieres on November 24: “Twenty years after the final episode of the series, the audience is invited to return to the recreated Barone living room for an unforgettable night with America’s favorite family,” the network said at the time.
In the released images, Ray Romano, who played the lead character, appears alongside his castmates Brad Garrett, Patricia Heaton, Monica Horan, Madylin Sweeten, Sullivan Sweeten and the creator of the series, Phil Rosenthal.

The show starred Romano as sports journalist Ray Barone and depicted his hectic family life. The beloved comedy series premiered on September 13, 1996, and ran for 9 seasons, ending in 2005.
Garrett played Robert Barone, Ray’s brother; Heaton played Debra, Ray’s wife; Horan portrayed Amy, Robert’s wife; and siblings Madylin and Sullivan played Ally and Michael, the couple’s children.

The special will also honor Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle, who played Raymond’s parents, Marie and Frank Barone. Boyle died in 2006 at age 71, and Roberts died in 2016 at age 90. Sawyer Sweeten, who played Geoffrey, the son of Ray and Debra, also tragically passed away in April 2015 at age 19.
The 90-minute program was filmed in a recreated version of the Barone family living room and will be presented by Romano and Rosenthal. The special will feature never-before-seen scenes, behind-the-scenes moments, and candid interviews with the cast.

“Everybody Loves Raymond” received 69 Emmy nominations and won 15, including awards for Romano, Heaton, Roberts and Garrett. The series also won Best Comedy Series twice, first in 2003 and again in 2005.
