Charlie Sheen says he has been sober for several years. In his memoir “The Book of Sheen” and the Netflix documentary “aka Charlie Sheen,” the actor shared previously untold stories about his life.
In a recent interview with Fox, he described drugs and alcohol as “young people’s stuff,” saying that if he could go back in time, he’d know that “it only gets worse and complicates things.”
He revealed that he first tried marijuana when he was 11 years old. In high school, he experimented with cocaine, developing what he called a “burning obsession” with the substance.

Although he used crack in 1992, he revealed there’s one drug he never touched.
“You know, heroin is the one drug I’ve never done. I don’t regret it, because I kind of made that decision without really knowing why. I hadn’t done any research, didn’t have much information,” Charlie Sheen said.
“I always saw heroin as something that if I tried once, I’d either die, or I’d try it once and then have to use it every day for a long time until I died,” he added.
