Broderick, 63, and Ruck, 69, gathered last Sunday (24) to watch a game between the Vancouver Canadians and the AquaSox. Suddenly, they surprised baseball fans when they led a chorus of Take Me Out to the Ball Game.
Even 39 years later, the duo managed to recreate some of the chemistry they had in the film, in which Broderick plays the main character Ferris Bueller, and Ruck plays his best friend Cameron.

In the movie, the two skip school and, surprisingly, get away with it. The film also shows Ferris and Cameron, along with Ferris’ girlfriend Sloane (played by Mia Sara), watching a baseball game at Chicago’s Wrigley Field during their attempts to escape the school principal.
If you were excited to see them together again, you can look forward to good news. According to IMDB, they will soon star in a new movie called The Best is Yet to Come, which follows two friends embarking on a road trip in bucket-list style.
In May, Deadline reported that the film focuses on a pair of best friends who, “because of a colossal misunderstanding that creates a ticking clock, get into a car to find one of their estranged sons and also try to do all the things life has prevented them from doing.”
