In a Facebook post, twins Lisa and Louise Burns, known for their role in “The Shining,” recreated the iconic scene from the classic 45 years after the premiere, and fans were stunned by how similar they still look.
“The Shining” was the only film in the careers of Lisa and Louise Burns. They played the Grady twins, who haunted Danny Torrance (Danny Lloyd) in a hallway in a scene that became legendary in cinema history.
The two were recently seen posing side by side to recreate the scene during the premiere of the documentary “Shine On,” about “The Shining.”
After being rejected by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, a drama school in the UK, the two chose different career paths, Lisa told the Daily Mail in 2015.
Lisa pursued a career in law, and Louise became a scientist with published research.

Although they moved away from acting, they shared their experience on set with Stanley Kubrick, director of “The Shining.”
“Every day felt like we had been invited to a very exclusive party, and we were the youngest and luckiest people there,” they told the British newspaper.
“Stanley wanted us on set every day, so between scenes we would play with Danny [Lloyd] and Jack [Nicholson],” they added. They landed the roles of the Grady twins through a public casting call by Kubrick.
