The clash began when Amanda criticized statements made by Osbourne and Louis Walsh during a recent appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, regarding Simon Cowell, with whom the presenter still works. Holden expressed discontent with the negative comments directed at Cowell, who is still her colleague.
“I hated seeing certain people on a reality show belittling Simon, he’s the person who gave them all the chances, gave them lots of money, and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had. It was bitter and pathetic.”

[…] Before you (Amanda) were even born, I lived in a mansion in Beverly Hills, I still live there today, and I also have my country estate in England. I never discuss money, lifestyle, or positions of power. I find that classless and vulgar.”
