Jake Lloyd, known for playing young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), has revealed that he intends to build a career in the world of eSports after completing his psychiatric treatment program.

In a rare interview, the former actor said he is excited to begin a new phase of his life focused on gaming. Now 37, Lloyd stepped away from acting in 2001 after reporting episodes of bullying at school and intense media pressure.

Years later, he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and underwent long-term treatment, including around 18 months in a rehabilitation facility. According to him, the period helped him develop tools to better deal with his mental health.
