Emily Gold, a dancer who recently appeared on the show “America’s Got Talent” with her dance team from Los Osos High School, passed away last Friday (13).

Authorities believe the dancer jumped from a bridge in Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA, and was struck by a vehicle in the carpool lane of a highway.

The police are investigating the incident, and no notes with Gold’s final words were found at the scene. Her parents shared the tragic news on social media, expressing deep sadness and thanking for the support they have received.

“With immeasurable sadness, we must tell everyone that we lost our beautiful Emily on September 13. Our hearts now have a hole the size of the universe. The outpouring of love and support we are receiving shows how many lives that angel touched and uplifted, and that is what will help us get through the most difficult time of our lives.”

Emily and her team had participated in the 19th season of “AGT“, where they impressed the audience and the judges, including Simon Cowell, who praised the group’s energy and talent. They advanced to the quarterfinals before being eliminated.
