The house used as Walter White’s residence in Breaking Bad has been listed for sale for $4 million, as the owner reveals she couldn’t stand more visits from the series’ fans.

The property in Albuquerque, New Mexico, looks quite different from what fans remember of the White family’s house in the series. This is because Joanne Quintana, the house’s owner, has put up fences and gates around the house to stop the influx of Breaking Bad fans.

Quintana has lived in the house since childhood with her parents, Fran and Louis Padilla, who purchased the house in 1973. But in 2006, one interaction changed everything for the family.

“My mom never answers the door, but she did. They introduced themselves, handed her a card, and said, ‘We’d like to use your house [for a] pilot episode,'” Quintana told KOB 4.

In just two weeks, they opened their doors for filming. The house was only used for exterior scenes, while the interior scenes were filmed in a studio.

Even so, it gave Quintana and her family a glimpse of Hollywood’s “magic.” However, the magic quickly faded when Breaking Bad fans began showing up outside the house to take photos.

Some even tried throwing pizzas onto the roof of their house, just like the character Bryan Cranston does in the series. Things became scary when a package addressed to Walter White was delivered to their door, which led them to install a fence and security cameras.

Now, with 300 cars stopping at their house every day, according to Quintana, the family decided to sell the house. They are asking for $4 million, but according to a report from People magazine, the real estate website Zillow valued the property at less than $350,000.

“This has been our family home since 1973, almost 52 years. So we’re leaving with just our memories. It’s time to move on. We’re done. There’s no more reason to fight.”
