The actor, who plays Neville Longbottom in the films, shared what the condition would be for him to appear in the original Max series. “It’s not something I’m looking to do or want to do, but it’s not something I would turn my nose up at,” Lewis explained to People magazine.
He then explained that he would like to return to the character’s shoes, but from another perspective. “I would be very interested to see if [it was] Neville as an adult – a totally different vibe. That could be interesting. I would certainly look at that and consider it.”
The new Harry Potter series will be based on all seven original books, with each season following one of them. “We can’t wait to share a decade of new stories with fans around the world on Max. Our goal is to premiere in 2026,” stated David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery.
