Actress Lisa Kudrow revealed that she had difficulty becoming friends with the other “Friends” cast members when they first started working together on the show.
Despite the name of the show, actress Lisa Kudrow revealed that she had difficulty becoming friends with the other “Friends” cast members when they first started working together on the series.
In an interview with Dax Shepard’s podcast “Armchair Expert,” Kudrow shared that the friendship between cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and herself “took some work.”
“If someone said or did something, it didn’t become a big deal because it was like, ‘Can I talk to you?'” Kudrow said. She explained that she had to get used to this kind of open communication: “I had to learn to say, ‘Can I talk to you about something?'”
The show lasted for 10 years, and over time, the actors built a strong and genuine friendship, which became even more evident after Perry’s death in 2023. “We were more than just castmates. We are family,” the cast said in a joint statement released after the tragedy.
