Jim Parsons, known for playing Sheldon Cooper on ‘The Big Bang Theory,’ was asked about the possibility of returning to the show in a recent interview.

He expressed that, although he currently has no interest in a revival, he doesn’t completely rule out the idea, as life is full of changes. For him, the series was special and unique, referring to the magic that made it a lasting success.

“I never say never, because life changes so much. One of the things is that it was so special as it was and as it is now, and they call it ‘lightning in a bottle’ for a reason. You can be sure that [a revival] wouldn’t be like that, so why would we do it? I don’t know, that’s how I feel about it now, but as I said, God willing, life is very long.”

The Big Bang Theory” aired from 2007 to 2019 and featured an iconic group of friends, including Leonard, Howard, and Raj, along with their partners Penny, Amy, and Bernadette. The show had twelve seasons and resulted in a spin-off, “Young Sheldon,” which premiered in 2017 and ended in 2024.

This year, a new spin-off, “Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage,” is scheduled to be launched.
