Gypsy Rose Blanchard revealed in a recent interview with “60 Minutes Australia” how she took her mother’s life with the help of her then-boyfriend.

After spending eight years in prison for second-degree murder, Gypsy Rose Blanchard shared details in an interview about the crime she committed against her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, in 2015 in Missouri, USA.

Now 33 years old and a mother herself, Gypsy was accused of allowing her ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, into her home to stab her mother while she hid in the bathroom during the attack.

“I was with my mother in our Habitat for Humanity home. We watched a movie together and then went to bed. And then it happened. I hugged her and said, ‘I love you,’” she told “60 Minutes Australia.”

Godejohn stabbed Dee Dee 17 times, something his then-girlfriend had not asked him to do.

Investigations revealed that Dee Dee forced her daughter to undergo unnecessary medical procedures and made her use a wheelchair and feeding tube despite not needing them.

Dee Dee told her family that Gypsy was sick, but it was all a lie. “I can honestly say that I would not have committed this crime if I had not been pushed to the limit,” she admitted.
