Don Lemon and CNN reached a settlement after the news anchor’s firing last year, with the network agreeing to pay Lemon a substantial sum of $24.5 million.

Lemon, who was fired following controversies over sexist comments about presidential candidate Nikki Haley, and for refusing to give airtime to “liars and fanatics,” stated he was surprised by the firing and criticized CNN for a lack of direct communication.

Since then, Lemon has launched a new program on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and has dedicated his time to weight loss.

Despite the criticism and controversy, Don Lemon has committed to learning from the events and improving, expressing regret over his past comments and seeking to engage in a new professional project.
