Ewen MacIntosh, famed for his role as Keith Bishop in the acclaimed series “The Office“, has passed away at the age of 50.
The news of his death was confirmed by friends and colleagues, although the exact cause has not yet been disclosed.

MacIntosh rose to prominence for portraying the Scottish accountant ‘Big Keith’ in the sitcom created by Ricky Gervais in 2001. The series, which quickly became a comedy classic, was instrumental in boosting the actor’s career and also inspired a successful American version.
The Welsh actor also had notable appearances in other British comedies, including “After Life”, “Miranda”, and “Little Britain”. In February 2022, MacIntosh shared a photo of himself in a hospital, informing fans that he was going through “difficult times”.
Friends and colleagues of MacIntosh praised the “empathy and incredible care” of the medical team that assisted him. The actor leaves behind his parents and brother, being unmarried and without children.
