Billy Zane appeared on social media in a Marlon Brando costume and shocked users with his resemblance to the actor.
The actor from Titanic, who is 58 years old, will play the late actor in the new biographical film Waltzing with Brando. In a photo that has gone viral on social media, Zane appears as Don Vito Corleone, Brando’s role in the 1972 iconic film The Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
In the film, based on the 2011 book by Bernard Judge, Zane will play Brando, who passed away in 2004, in the 1970s when Brando also starred in the classic film Last Tango in Paris. Zane will also be the film’s producer, which is directed and co-written by Bill Fishman.
“I’m really looking forward to this. Congratulations,” wrote one of Zane’s followers in the comments. “You really look like a young Marlon Brando,” commented another. “Unbelievable resemblance to the king,” wrote a third. “You look more like Brando than Brando himself,” joked a fourth.
