Daddario debuted on the series “True Detective” in 2014 and portrayed Lisa Tragnetti, the lover of detective Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson). The two starred in a hot scene involving handcuffs.
“When ‘True Detective’ was released and I was nude in the series, it was huge for my career and […] I got some jobs because of it,” she said in an interview with Men’s Journal.
She also mentioned that she wasn’t very aware of her “sexual appeal” and that filming the scene was something natural.
“I really love acting, at heart, I’m just a theater nerd, and I kind of took that and said, ‘This is good for my career,’ and embraced it,” she said.
However, Daddario claims there can be a negative side to receiving so much attention for these scenes.
“I really love what I do. I have a lot of fun dressing up and playing roles, and even on the red carpet, I’m kind of playing a role […] I try to ignore some of the negative aspects of it.”
