A new trailer for the reality show “The Baldwins” shows actor Alec Baldwin tearing up next to his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, as they recall the 2021 accident on the set of the film “Rust” that claimed one life.

Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, are seen discussing the day the “30 Rock” star fired a prop gun that led to a director’s death on the set of “Rust.” The actor is shown breaking down in tears in the new trailer for the reality show “The Baldwins.”

“A child lost their mother in the most unimaginable tragedy,” says 41-year-old Hilaria in the footage, which was released on Monday, January 27. The couple has been married since 2011 and has seven children together.

“This will never be something we can forget, and we’re trying to raise our children amidst all of this,” she continues, while 66-year-old Alec covers his face to hide his tears.

Alec Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter in 2023 after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, died on the set of “Rust” when the actor fired a prop gun.

The charges were dropped three months later, refiled, and then dropped again midway through the trial in 2024.

TLC’s new reality show, “The Baldwins,” premieres on February 23.
